As a alumni from MSU with a bachelor in Industrial Design from 2020, it disheartens me to know MSU is considering canceling the program. This is preventing a lot of creatives like myself to find an affordable avenue into the world of product design. The advantages of not paying an arm and a leg to study Industrial Design and be able to put our creativity into a stable and rewarding field is astronomical.

I would have no idea where i would be without the program from MSU. I was able to afford the degree and now I am using the degree as an Industrial Designer at a product design consultancy. There are not many stable options for people with creative minds that know what to do with it.

Canceling this program would be putting a lot of young innovators and designers at risk of choosing the wrong field or drowning themselves in debt to study elsewhere. Please do not take this program away from them. The program is starting to pick up a lot more than when I was a student so I am not sure why this is even a discussion.
